Danny Lulu is an artist and musician who creates multi-media folk tales that trace our connections to history, place, and culture. He paints mouse-drawn .gifs of the American landscape, turning them into movies, performances, and sculptures – allegories in which human histories and natural events collide, revealing connections and contradictions embedded in ourselves and in the landscape.
Danny was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and currently lives and works in Providence, Rhode Island.
